About
I teach Years 7–9 music at Mount Lawley Senior High School, with a Kodály-informed approach — sound before symbol, lots of singing and ear work, theory that grows out of music students have already felt in their bodies. Outside the classroom, I compose for film and sit on the committee at ABODA WA and AJEA.
I want every student to leave a lesson feeling like they levelled up — not just like they finished a task.
That's where this site comes in. Every game here started as a real classroom activity, trialled with real students, then rebuilt as a browser game so the levelling-up feeling can travel beyond the one lesson it was made for. No accounts, no installs — just open a page and play.
If you're a music teacher and something here is useful in your own classroom, that's exactly what it's for.
